Founded on a desire to provide generous hospitality to Australia’s remote workplaces
Founded in 2012, Village National focused on properties that were in great locations with long-term resource reserves surrounding them. After consolidation in the downturn of 2014 the Moranbah and Emerald locations were retained.
The Village National business services the coalfields in the Bowen Basin. In 2019 Village National purchased OICS, a mobile camp business founded in Adelaide in 1999 by Warwick and Ivy Pope.
OICS had been servicing the Oil and Gas industry for over 20 years primarily supplying mobile camp services to drillers and other remote industries.
The two businesses have been integrated and our Head Office is based in Woolloongabba in the inner suburbs of Brisbane. We have field operations across Queensland in Moranbah, Emerald, Miles and Roma as well as Mereenie and Daly Waters in the NT and in the Cooper Basin in SA.
The Village National Group is comprised of Village National Camps and OICS.
Village National Camps supplies accommodation in larger, fixed camps in strategic locations near to some of Australia’s largest resources reserves.
OICS supplies very mobile camps for teams 10 through to 200 anywhere in Australia. These solutions are full turn-key solutions and OICS are specialists in ultra-remote locations.
