Board Members

Noel Griffin


Noel has extensive experience in management, operation and ownership of transport and agricultural businesses. From 1982 to 1995, Noel was Managing Director of Refrigerated Roadways Pty Ltd, which at one stage was the largest refrigerated carrier in Australia. The business was sold to TNT in 1995. Noel was a major shareholder and Managing Director of Table Grape Growers Pty Ltd from 1997 to 2003 and has served as a Director on several unlisted and listed companies. Noel was also a director of Centrepoint Alliance Finance Ltd from 2005 to 2014. Noel is a shareholder in Village National.

Brett McDonald

Non Executive Director

Currently Queensland Operations Manager for Sekisui House.  Brett has a career of experience in Property, Projects, Construction, Engineering, Telecommunication, Operations and Maintenance and Manufacturing. Brett was previously the President of Australasia for Red Sea Housing Services where he organised the procurement and modular construction of a 14,000 person camp in Malaysia and a 432 person camp on Manus Island..

Rick Nelson

Non Executive Director

Richard was a founder of Centrepoint Finance Group in 1982, which then grew to become one of Australia’s largest commercial finance brokers. In 2005 it merged with Alliance Finance to form the ASX listed Group Centrepoint Alliance. Richard served as Managing Director of this business until 2007 when he became the non-executive Deputy Chairman. In 2008, he assumed the role of non-executive Chairman until his retirement in 2015. Richard brings strong financial and business analysis skills to Village National. He is a director of a number of unlisted companies. Rick is a shareholder in Village National.

Andrew Hudson

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew has been the CEO of Village National since May 2019 and previously was CEO of OICS for 6 years. His career spans industries including Healthcare, Energy and Resources and prior to his role with OICS was a senior manager at one of Australia’s largest services companies. Andrew is a growth specialist in service based businesses in diverse, high-barrier-to-entry markets. Andrew is a shareholder in Village National.

Stephen Lonergan

Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary

Stephen Lonergan has been Chief Financial Officer for a number Brisbane based aviation services companies and has been responsible for Finance, Legal, Company Secretarial, Board Compliance, Insurance, Property and Equipment globally. Stephen has extensive experience with Private Equity backed businesses and has a proven track record in M&A. Stephen is a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Grant Mathieson

General Manager Operations

Grant oversees the National Operations and has in place a highly specialised team that have a reputation for providing the best value for money solutions across Australia. Grant is a proven manager most recently as a direct report to C-level Executive at one of Australia’s largest privately owned companies. Grant is a systems implementation specialist with a proven track record of results over the last 10 years in senior roles. Grant is a shareholder in Village National. 

Chris West

General Manager Business Development

Chris is a sales and commercial General Manager with over 20 years’ experience in driving organisational and functional change, Chris joined the team in 2020. Expert in creating multi-layered sales strategies to improve customer engagement, revenue targets and organisational efficiencies that work across divisions.

Megan Wallace

Health, Safety & Quality Manager

Megan is a risk specialist who, along with management, designed, planned and implemented the quality management system at OICS and subsequently Village National. Megan has a background in design, project management and audit and is a qualified HSE professional. Megan owns the Quality function at Village National and is well respected in her field in the Oil and Gas and Resources sectors.
