Board Members
Karl Trouchet
Chairman
Karl was a director of Apollo Tourism and Leisure Ltd (ASX:ATL) from 1996 to 2023. He led ATL, a multinational RV rental company, through their listing process as CFO and successfully navigated the acquisition of six RV businesses across Australia, Europe and North America. He is currently a non-executive director of Camplify Holdings Limited, (ASX:CHL) which is a leading multinational peer-to-peer digital marketplace platform connecting RV Owner to Hirers.
Brett McDonald
Non Executive Director
Brett has over 30 years’ experience in executive management, governance, strategy, major projects, prefabrication and building construction in more than 24 countries, Brett is a seasoned professional within his field. A leader in accommodation solutions and infrastructure projects in Australia, Indonesia, Canada, Malaysia, PNG, Dubai, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and the UK.
A specialist in prefabrication and modular construction, Brett has developed factories in several countries with a range of products that are simple but effective. Examples include schools, churches, housing, units, switch rooms and E-rooms, commercial kitchens, hotels / resorts, hospitals and detention centres.
A Fellow of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Brett has been an advisor to many Governments on development associated legislation, development programs, building and training. Brett has also held a number of board positions and has been a Director for several companies, in various countries, that specialise in housing, construction and development, research and medical devices.
Rick Nelson
Non Executive Director
Richard was a founder of Centrepoint Finance Group in 1982, which then grew to become one of Australia’s largest commercial finance brokers. In 2005 it merged with Alliance Finance to form the ASX listed Group Centrepoint Alliance. Richard served as Managing Director of this business until 2007 when he became the non-executive Deputy Chairman. In 2008, he assumed the role of non-executive Chairman until his retirement in 2015. Richard brings strong financial and business analysis skills to Village National. He is a director of a number of unlisted companies. Rick is a shareholder in Village National.

Ms. Ainslie Cunningham and Ms. Debra Anderson, Co-Founders and Directors of 3YS Owls are the Village National Holdings Limited joint Company Secretary.

Chris West
Chief Executive Officer
A CEO with over 20 years’ experience in driving organisational and functional change to increase profitability, performance and sustainable growth for local and international businesses. Experienced in leading national and international teams (including remote staff) by creating a transparent culture that enables accountability, ownership and motivation.
Since taking over the CEO role during 2021 Chris has grown the business by30% and almost doubled the profitability. Overhead has remained stable across the same period.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws and an MBA.
Anthony Novic
Chief Financial Officer
Anthony brings over a decade of financial leadership across diverse industries to Village National, where he leads the organization’s financial strategies, technological advancements, and overarching business initiatives. His career trajectory demonstrates a profound ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and foster sustainable growth. As a collaborative visionary, Anthony utilizes data-driven insights to develop strategic initiatives and cultivate a culture of innovation.
Throughout his career, Anthony has consistently achieved remarkable results, guiding organizations through significant periods of growth and transformation. His strategic planning expertise and digital proficiency have played a pivotal role in driving substantial revenue increases and operational efficiencies.

Liz Kaye
General Manager People & Compliance
Liz is an experienced professional in Human Resources, Contract & Compliance, Account Management and Customer Services; has over 25 years’ experience primarily working in the resources, construction and OEM/manufacturing sectors with both national and international
businesses. Liz holds a Graduate Diploma in HR/IR as well as a Graduate Certificates in Applied Law and Business Administration.
Liz joined Village National Group, as the General Manager People & Compliance in June 2021 and is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of the people and compliance functions, including talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management,
employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and associated compliance.
